24-Hour Emergency Garage Door Service in Los Angeles & Orange County: Same-Day Repair When You Need It Most

Garage door emergencies don't schedule themselves. A torsion spring snaps at 11 p.m. A cable frays and the door drops sideways, trapping your car inside. The opener loses power during a heat wave and you can't get the door open manually. A vehicle collision takes the bottom panel out — and now rain and wind have access to everything you own.

In moments like these, you need a team that answers the phone, dispatches quickly, and arrives with the right parts on the truck. That's ENTRANCIO. We provide same-day and 24-hour emergency garage door repair across Los Angeles County, Orange County, the San Fernando Valley, the San Gabriel Valley, and South Bay — with genuine American-made parts and technicians who treat your home the way they'd treat their own.

What Counts as a Garage Door Emergency?

Technically, any garage door failure is an inconvenience. But some failures cross into urgent territory — situations where delaying repair creates a security risk, a safety hazard, or a functional blockage that interrupts your life. Here's when to call immediately:

Door Won't Close — Security Risk

An open garage is an open house. If your door is stuck in the open position — broken spring, failed opener, derailed track — your home is unsecured. This is a Priority 1 emergency. ENTRANCIO dispatches same-day for any door-open scenario regardless of time of day.

Door Came Off Track

An off-track door is dangerous to operate — the panels can buckle, the cables can snap, and the door can fall. Do not attempt to force it back on track manually. The most common causes: broken cable, bent track, snapped roller, or a vehicle impact. ENTRANCIO technicians carry track realignment tools and the common replacement components on every service vehicle.

Broken Torsion or Extension Spring

When a spring breaks, the door becomes dangerously heavy — your opener motor wasn't designed to lift a 400-pound door without spring assistance. Most openers will burn out or sustain damage if operated with a broken spring. Stop using the door and call immediately.

Frayed or Snapped Cable

A snapped cable causes the door to become unbalanced — one side heavy, one side slack. Continued operation can cause the door to come off track entirely. Visible fraying, a door that sits lower on one side, or a sudden grinding noise are all cable distress signals.

Opener Won't Respond — Car Trapped

Power outage, circuit board failure, or a radio receiver issue can leave you locked out — or locked in. ENTRANCIO carries common circuit boards, receivers, and transmitters for all major opener brands: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, Overhead Door, and more.

What to Do While You Wait for Emergency Service

  1. Do not attempt to operate a damaged door. Do not force a stuck door open or closed. If the spring is broken, the door is extremely heavy and can fall.
  2. Engage the manual release (the red cord hanging from the opener rail) only if you need to move the door manually — and only with another adult present to support the door weight.
  3. If the door is stuck open, temporarily secure the area: move vehicles, cover valuables, and if possible stay near the garage until the technician arrives.
  4. Take a photo of the damage and have it ready when you call — our dispatchers can often identify the failure type over the phone and confirm parts availability before the technician departs.

Tune-Ups, Preventive Maintenance & Remote Programming

Emergency service is reactive. Preventive maintenance is how you avoid emergencies altogether. ENTRANCIO offers annual garage door tune-up service that includes: spring tension inspection and adjustment, cable inspection, roller replacement if needed, track lubrication and alignment, opener force adjustment, limit switch calibration, safety reversal test, and a full hardware inspection — hinges, brackets, bolts, and end bearing plates.

We also program and replace all major remote transmitters and keypad entry systems: LiftMaster Security+ 2.0, Chamberlain myQ, Genie Intellicode, Linear Delta3, and more. Lost your remote? We'll have you programmed and rolling the same day.
